W arranging the occasion of “PLANTATION” and “SAVE ENVIRONMENT CAMPAIGN” for the Students’ Awakening abo Environment Safety. Community service refers to activity performed by an individual or a group of people for the wellbeing and benefit of the put society. Significance of community service ultimately depends on how one perceives it. Such programs are meant to instill a se civic engagement and community. It’s a way to return to the society and the environment, a good feeling of having something for others. Values like honesty, humbleness, gratefulness, respect, being non-judgmental; sincere are some of the virtues that c imbibed through this exercise. Students learn to think beyond 'I, me, and myself’ and get a wider perspective of life. Each s must complete at least ten hours of community service by the end of spring break each year. A log of the community s activities that each student performs during the school year must be maintained and submitted on the day after spring bar addition, some form of evidence must accompany the log. Acceptable forms of evidence include photographs, journal and/or verification letters. All service activities must be pre-approved by parents/guardians and should have adult supervise.
